Hortens Segulana

Hortens is a grizzled veteran of many years, joining the City Guard out of boredom, after 20 years in the legions. At 6' 9" and 375 lbs., he is a mountain of a man who can carry a horse in case he gets tired of walking.

Hortens is a morose fellow, given to drink (which makes him even more morose), and often unfit for duty when things are quiet. But when roused for battle, he is ferocious and terrifying, wielding a two handed axe by choice. He is also one of the few Guardsmen skilled in the use of the heavy crossbow.
