Magistrate Ovidio Tagaris

Ovidio Tagaris is the senior Magistrate for The Bottoms. He has held the office for a long time, and has become jaded and lazy. Many believe he is corrupt; certainly he is easy going on those who have friends in high places - or money. He seems unconcerned that his authority is limited to The Bottoms only, and that justice is often beyond his reach, even if he tried. He is feared by the people of the neighborhood, and reviled by The Watch, who often bring criminals to his court with great effort, only to have them released without punishment.

Most prefer to bring their grievance before Magistrate Laskaris, whom all believe is far more honest and just.
